**I will be resuming face-to-face sessions from Monday 26th April. From this point onwards, I will be offering both face-to-face, and remote sessions, depending on what works best for you. Remote sessions are via Zoom, Skype, FaceTime etc, or just regular phone calls.**
I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and UKCP Registered Psychotherapist, with 20 years experience of working with a wide range of issues. I am based in Holborn, Central London (WC1).
There are many reasons for wanting to begin counselling or psychotherapy. A recent, or current, crisis is often the prompt. Or, you may feel the time has come to take a closer look at those problems, or patterns of thinking and behaviour, that seem all too familiar to you. Many people find their struggles to be too broad or confusing to place in any particular box, or experience a difficult-to-locate sense of dissatisfaction with their lives.
You needn't be clear about your own reasons. My aim, both initially and throughout, is to help you give voice to, as well as understand more fully, those areas of your life that feel difficult, painful, unfulfilled or stuck. Such understanding can be useful, illuminating and cathartic in its own right, but beyond this, it can also help us make decisions about those things we may wish to change, as well as come to terms with those things that we can't.
