Introduction
I am a fully qualified, BACP Accredited Counsellor and UKCP Registered Psychotherapist, based at convenient locations in Central London - Holborn (WC1) and Clerkenwell (EC1). I offer both short and long-term counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and couples, using an open, grounded, jargon-free approach.
I am experienced at working with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, addiction, sexuality, relationship difficulties, bereavement, loss and identity. I have a particular interest in exploring relationship difficulties, the meaning and experience of depression, and the ways that we struggle with (and attempt to make sense of) the choices that we face.
I also provide clinical supervision to other counsellors and therapists - both experienced and those still in training.
As well as my own private practice, I have worked extensively as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist in a variety of settings, including the NHS, Social Services and for a number of not-for-profit organisations.
I hope that the information on these pages goes some way to answering any questions you might have about counselling and psychotherapy in general, and how I work in particular. However, feel free to contact me if anything is unclear, or to book a first session.
